The Parakeet Studio

The Parakeet Studio is an artist-run studio based in Oval, London. As a collective we all have different media and practices whilst working cooperatively, helping and critiquing each other along the way.  Luke Nolan started the studio with the intention of making large,  life-size portraits, teaching portraiture and building a community of creative people. The space is now shared with painters, sculptors and musicians. What began as an ambitious investment has grown into a working studio and a thriving community of artists.

We have an upcoming open day on Sunday 24 May, where the studio will be open to visitors. 

Alongside this, our Summer Atelier Courses will take place throughout July.
