This five day course focuses on drawing the human figure from life using the sight
size method. The course moves from pencil into charcoal, teaching linear and mass drawing
methods.

Setting up and working using the sight size method
Accurate measurements of the figure
Analysing proportion, structure and characteristics of the figure
Gesture and movement through quick studies
Modelling form
Developing a drawing through study of contour
Introduction to both observational and anatomical drawing

All courses are taught by Luke Nolan, trained in Florence at Charles H. Cecil Studios and in Salisbury at Sarum Studios.
